CHRISTINA FRASER

I am an accredited member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and have been working in private practice for over 20 years, having trained at London Marriage Guidance (now part of Tavistock Relationships) I also worked as a Relate licensed counsellor for 10 years.

Based in Clapham, South London, I see a variety of couples who are seeking different patterns of connecting and are looking at ways to change negative communication styles and manage difficult situations.

I also work with individuals who need support with problems in relationships or help during times of loss after bereavement or separation.

Working confidentially with the specific needs of each client, I believe that therapy in a safe and impartial space can give people time to reflect and to start looking at ways that can help with the insights that are needed to facilitate change, and thus better negotiate conflicts and misunderstandings.

I offer an empathetic approach enabling people to understand the causes of their difficulties, and together we look for resources to manage present and future challenges.

I regularly contribute to magazines and national newspapers on a range of personal and relationship issues.

I have a particular interest in working with people affected by addictions and difficult family histories, and those looking to manage family and couple separation issues.
